What is Hot & Cold Stone Therapy?

Hot and Cold Stone Therapy has deep historical roots, originating from ancient India and China, where stones were used in healing rituals for health and protection. Heated stones were placed on the body to ease pain, particularly during menstruation, while cold stones were used pre-birth to control blood flow.

Today, this therapy combines naturally shaped Basalt stones with massage for a highly relaxing and healing experience. The heated stones warm the skin and muscles, improving circulation and allowing for deeper trigger point work, while cold stones help reduce inflammation and soothe injuries.

Though this technique can be integrated with Myofascial Release and sports massage, it is not suitable for pregnancy.
